Dancing Gate

Situated in outstanding location less than two miles from Keswick, adjacent to a working farm, and just a mile from the osprey viewpoint. Newly renovated, the house provides a comfortable, relaxing base, ideal for touring the Lake District. The house has panoramic views of Whinlatter Forest and the Grisedale Pike range, Newlands valley, Borrowdale and the Helvellyn range. The house has four bedrooms, one double with en-suite, one double, one twin and one single with pull-out bed suitable for child up to 12 years. The main bathroom with bath and shower is spacious. The kitchen is fully-fitted with integral washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, hob and oven, plus microwave oven. The garden is enclosed and there is ample parking for three cars in the car park. Up to 3 well-behaved dogs are welcome (no extra charge) and there are several pleasant walks nearby. The cottage is owner-maintained and letting is Friday to Friday with short breaks available November - March and also as late availability. Oil-fired central heating, electric and linen included in rental, towels available to hire.

Dancing Gate is easily reached by car or by public transport. It is situated on the A591 from Keswick to Bothel, about one and a half miles from Crosthwaite roundabout on the A66 Keswick by-pass. Full directions provided on booking.
