Bleaberry Lodge is a detached cottage with stunning views of Skiddaw, Latrigg and the Helvellyn range.

Bleaberry Lodge is very well equiped, and now has wireless broadband internet.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed.
A real 'Home from Home'.
Bleaberry Lodge has a dining kitchen with an Aga. A lounge with a wood-burning stove, and superb fell and garden views . There is a “snug” with bay window and fell views. A utility room, with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is a large cupboard for coats and boots, and a downstairs cloakroom.

All three bedrooms have valley and fell views. One master bedroom, another double, and a twin room. Shower room and family bathroom.

Outside, the front garden has furniture to make the most of the stunning views. To the rear, there are two acres of grass and woodland to explore, with private access into Whinlatter Forest.

In March and April the garden boasts an abundance of wild daffodils, and in May and June there are many wildflowers, particularly foxgloves.

There is ample private parking.

Bleaberry Lodge is cleaned and maintained by the owners.

Location

Nestled into the lower slopes of Whinlatter Forest, in a peaceful location, only 3 miles from the popular market town of Keswick.

Situated on an elevated single track road, to the rear of Thornthwaite village, with the garden backing onto the forest.

Whinlatter Forest is the only Mountain Forest Park in England, which now boasts over 19 kms of dedicated Mountain Bike Trails, and a Go-Ape! tree top adventure course, as well as walking trails suitable for all ages.

There are many walks and/or cycles from the door. The fells of Grisedale Pike, Barrow, Causey Pike, Seat How, Lord's Seat, etc. can all be reached from Bleaberry Lodge.

Red Squirrels and deer frequent the garden, and the Ospreys nest nearby.
