Ashness self catering apartment is ideal for a convenient and hassle free holiday in Keswick, the heart of the Northern Lake District.

Ashness apartment provides a spacious self catering two floor maisonette located in the centre of Keswick, the three bedroomed (all en-suite) property sleeps up to six peope and sits above a local book shop and has stunning lakeland views.

The accommodation consists of three good sized bedrooms. The main bedroom has fitted wardrobes, a comfy king size bed and an en-suite shower room.  The double room has a shower room with w.c. and a sink in the bedroom.  The third bedroom has twin beds, a shower room with w.c a sink in the bedroom and views towards  Keswick Market square and the Moot Hall.

The upper floor has a modern galley kitchen fitted with gas oven, grill and gas hob, a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge (with freezer compartment) and other appliances.  Within the kitchen there is also a dining area with a large farmhouse table and seating for six.  There are views over Skiddaw.

Also on the top floor is a spacious and bright living room with flat screen television with freeview, DVD and CD player.  There are two comfortable leather sofas and a wooden pool table.  

There are tremendous views from each of the three windows-firstly over the town square with the famous Moot Hall and the lakeland fells in the background (Walla Crag, Falcons Crag and Clough Head)  The second window looks over towards Cat Bells and the velux window has a magnificent view of Skiddaw.

Finally the apartment has a large airing cupboard to dry wet clothes (from the washing machine or the weather!)   The property is centrally heated throughout and all windows are double glazed.

Two parking permits are provided for use in the nearby town car parks .

The property is owner maintained and live only 5 minutes away to deal with any occurances.

All bookings are from Saturday to Saturday (except short winter breaks)

Location

Ashness apartment  is situated in the town centre above “Bookends” bookshop at the bottom of Stanger Street.   

Step out of the front door and you are in the middle of Keswick where you have a wide range of restaurants, cafes, shops, galleries, museums, a cinema and more.

Head up Stanger street and into Fitz Park (the main town park only three minutes walk) where the kids can play on the swings etc. and you can watch the cricket (voted the loveliest cricket ground in England).

From M6 motorway : Turn off at junction 40 (Penrith) an head along the A66 towards Keswick (about 14 miles).  Take the first turn into Keswick and head towards the town centre (beside the river Greta) * Continue along the road past the large public car park , the police station and then round the post office corner.  Stanger street is then your next turn right and you will see Bookends bookshop on the corner (very obvious).  Ashness apartment is above the bookshop (the entrance is on the Stanger street side of the building and is well marked.

From the central lakes - Ambleside & Windermere:  Head towards Keswick on the A591 and drop down the hill towards town.
