Appletree Cottage

Appletree Cottage is a warm and dog friendly cottage set in the grounds of an old orchard that used to be part of a farm.  Situated 2.5 miles on the outskirts of Keswick at the foot of Skiddaw and Dodd Wood, it is within easy reach of Keswick and amenities.

Location

Appletree Cottage is 2.5 miles from Keswick on the A591 to Carlisle.
Leave the M6 at Junction 40 (Penrith). Take the exit off the round-a-bout for Keswick and the North Lakes (A66) and drive for 17 miles. Remain on the A66 past Keswick until you reach Crosthwaite round-a-bout and take the third exit onto the A591 to Carlisle.
Drive for 2.5 miles, past Dodd Wood Garden Centre and Lyzzick Hall Hotel. The access to the cottage is on the right soon after the hotel and via the entrance to Dancing Gate.
