Acorn Cottage is a double-fronted, 4 bedroom property believed to be almost 200 years old. It has recently been fully renovated and refurbished to a high standard and offers particularly spacious living accommodation. It has gas central heating throughout. It is very conveniently situated in a quiet area yet within a few minutes walk of both Keswick town centre and Derwentwater.

The entrance porch, which provides storage space for coats and boots, opens into a large living room with plenty of comfortable seating and an open fireplace with a traditional Lakeland stone surround, TV, DVD, Bose CD player and radio.The separate dining room has a useful pulley drying rack and an electric keyboard for musically creative guests.A fully fitted quality kitchen and utility area contains an electric double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble-drier.On the first floor there is a large master bedroom with king size bed and room for a cot if required, a twin-bedded room, a compact well-fitted bathroom with a shower over the bath, a vanity unit with basin and a wc, and a further washroom with basin, vanity unit and wc. On the second floor there are two single bedrooms with views of Castle Head and Walla Cragg through velux windows. These two rooms are light and airy but have limited headroom.Outside there is a small enclosed rear patio with a gated side passage giving access on to the street. There is on-steet parking in front of the cottage. Reduced Occupancy is available at Acorn Cottage from October to May (excluding school holidays). We are able to offer this service by locking off un-used rooms saving on cleaning and energy costs. Prices are reduced to reflect the number of bedrooms/bathroom used. Standard 1 bedroom booking (double bedroom & main bathroom), 2 bedroom booking (as 1 bedroom booking plus 1 x double bedroom & 1 cloaks), 3 bedroom booking (as 2 bedroom booking plus 1 x single bedroom). Alison's View is a delightful, modern terraced cottage which offers accommodation for 2-4 people over three floors. Ideally situated in a small lane only a two minute stroll from Keswick town centre. The property provides a perfect base for those wishing to fell walk, tour or just relax and enjoy the beautiful Lake District.

This spacious cottage offers a large secure private garage with lots of additional storage space for walking gear, bikes, pushchairs or simply drying your washing! On the first floor the 22ft open plan living space accommodates a lounge, dining and kitchen area. There are lovely fell views towards Latrigg and Skiddaw from the kitchen window. On the second floor there is a master double, one large twin bedroom and a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The cottage is beautifully furnished, great attention to detail has been put into the decoration of each room and all the furniture is of excellent quality. On entering the Cottage the front door leads to entrance lobby with access to the large garage providing secure parking for one car plus ample storage for bikes, pushchairs etc. It also has a utility area with sink and additional storage space. The back door leads to a paved patio area with garden furniture. Stairs from the entrance lobby lead to the first floor landing. From the landing a door leads to the open plan living area. There is a good sized, comfortable lounge with two settees, TV, pine furniture and various pictures of Lakeland fells. A selection of tourist information, Lake District magazines and walking books are in the living room cupboard. Alongside the lounge is the spacious and well equipped kitchen and dining area. The fully fitted pine kitchen has all modern facilities as you would expect from your kitchen at home, so whether you eat out every night or stay in and play Gordon Ramsay, we are sure you will find everything you need. There is an electric oven with gas hob, microwave, large fridge freezer, washer dryer and plenty of storage space. The dining area has a pine table and chairs. The second floor has two bedrooms, one double and one large twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have pine beds with comfortable mattresses, bed linen, bedside cabinets, wall lights, clock radios and built in wardrobes with ample hanging room and shelf space. Towels are provided.
