27 Lake Road is a charming spacious cottage in the heart of Keswick less than one minutes walk from Keswick’s Market Square and 5-10 minutes walk from Derwentwater & Borrowdale. Locally owned and managed by Peter Garner it's ideal for couples, families & mixed groups of up to 11 people seeking a country cottage with the convenience of a town centre location for week(s) or short breaks.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout and furnished to a high standard in a country style. There are five bed rooms in all; two double en-suite bed rooms with loo, shower & sink, two doubles with washbasins and one twin bedroom. Bed linen and 1 bath towel/person are provided free of charge. One double en-suite’s also has a single bed. There is a bathroom with bath, loo & basin on the first floor and cloakroom with loo & hand basin on the ground floor. A travel cot & high chair are available.
The kitchen is fully equipped with range cooker, full fridge, full freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and microwave. A rustic pine dining room can seat 11 and has a CD/MP3 radio player. The living room has a 32” flat screen TV with DVD player, high quality leather/fabric furnishings, black stove and slate hearth. There is a garden to the front of the property with picnic benches to seat up to 11/12.
Parking is by permit in Keswick's Central & Lakeside Car Parks; less than 1 & 5 minutes stroll from the property respectively. Up to 3 parking permits are included in the hire charge.
All gas & electrical installations and appliances are serviced by CORGI and ECA approved engineers and all statutory health & safety obligations met. The cottage is also one of the few in the area independently fire risk assessed to BS PAS79. An Access Statement is available on request.

Location
Exit M6 jct 40, A66 west 17 miles. Exit A66 for Keswick onto The Hawthorns/Penrith Road until T junction with A591. Turn left for ½ mile then 1st right onto Manor Brow/Ambleside Rd ¾ mile. After Cinema left Derwent St. then right 27 is opposite George Fisher Ltd.
