Skiddaw Croft

Skiddaw Croft offers a warm welcome in the quiet village of Portinscale. An Edwardian house, it provides spacious and comfortable rooms with splendid views over Derwentwater and the surrounding fells. The bedrooms are all fully equipped. A relaxing and cosy lounge with magazines and books is also provided.

Excellent breakfasts to suit all tastes and appetites are provided using local produce. See our menu on the right. We shall be pleased to serve special vegetarian breakfasts on request.
Breakfast in summer is served between 8am and 8.45am (earlier by arrangement). In winter breakfast is served by arrangement.

Private parking and cycle lock up and drying facilities for that occasional wet day!

Portinscale village boasts a village shop/cafe, a bar/restaurant and a hotel with public bar, 2 marinas all within 5 minutes walk. Easy level walk to Keswick town centre.

For the comfort of all guests this is a non smoking establishment.

Dogs may be accepted by prior arrangement but must not be left unattended in room.
