Lynwood

Ideally situated in a quiet residential area, yet only 4 minutes from Town Centre, Lynwood is a warm and friendly guest house offering single, twin and king size beds, all rooms are en-suite and have flat screen digital t.v., hairdryers, hospitality trays, all our en-suites have been refurbished to a high standard.

A hearty breakfast is served in our spacious dining room, using only locally produced ingredients including Cumberland sausages and locally produced eggs, we also cater for vegetarians and coeliacs.

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.  We have a lock up storage facility for cycles.

Packed lunches are also available upon request

Many interesting walks start from the front door, help, advice and maps on these and many others are all freely available.

Location

From M6 leave at Junction 40 and take the A66 Keswick. Leave after about 14 miles on A591 Keswsick/Windermere. At T junction turn left for Windermere,after about 400 yards turn right into Manor Brow, signposted Castlerigg Manor, drive down the hill, and Lynwood is on the right 120 yards after the road levels out.
