A fine Edwardian house sitauted in the heart of Portinscale. Lake View enjoys an elevated south facing position overlooking fells and lake. Three comfortably furnished bedrooms offer en-suite facilities. Relax in the sitting room after wonderful home cooked food. Owned by Stuart and Catherine Muir a husband and wife team, with a combined experiance of 48 years in hospility. Stuart has a love of cycling and walking and would gladly arrange mountain bike and walking boot hire along with route maps for you. Why not come along  with a group of friends and after a tiring day, let Catherine prepare you a feast, using local and seasonal ingredients to exite you. 

Location

Lake View is situated in the village of Portinscale which is approxamately one mile west of Keswick, only a 15 minute easy walk into the center or a 5 minute drive.

From the M6 motoway take juction 40 (Penrith) and head on the A66 towards Keswick and west Cumbria. Go past the firts turn in to Keswick and straight over the roundabout. Take the second turning on the left signed for Portinscale.Lake View is 200 yards on the left after the Farmers Arms.

Virgin Trains call at Penrith and get the bus to Keswick.
