Come and stay at Gillian and Phil's comfortable, relaxing Guest House where the high standard of our well appointed, clean and comfortable Bed and Breakfast accommodation is reflected in the Visit Britain 4 star award which we have held for a number of years.

We offer king size, double, twin, triple and family rooms (there is a supplement for single occupancy).

We provide a wide breakfast choice from full English and vegetarian breakfasts to lighter options including smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, poached eggs on toast or for something different, try our pancakes. Our breakfasts are made using locally sourced and Fair Trade produce where possible.

Grassmoor is a quiet conveniently located Bed and Breakfast, around 4 minutes walk from the Market Place and about 10 minutes to the Theatre and Lake.

We are both cyclists and walkers, and as well as having a selection of routes, guides and books available for guests we are always happy to offer advice on routes and local activities. We have secure cycle storage and a drying room for wet clothes and boots.

Location

Grassmoor Guest House is situated at the town end of Blencathra Street.

Entering Keswick from Penrith or Ambleside on the A591, pass a petrol station on your left, go under a railway bridge, take the 3rd, 4th or 5th left turn after the bridge, then take the 1st right into Blencathra Street.

Approaching from the West, on the A66, or the C2C cycle route, follow the B5289 towards Keswick. This becomes the A5271, which is the main road that skirts round the centre of Keswick, passing a car park on the right, to a cross roads just after the pedestrian traffic lights. Turn right and then immediately left into Southey Street. Take the 2nd left into Blencathra Street.
