Robin and Clare would like to welcome you to 'Ellergill', which is perfectly located in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet only a 2 minute walk from the centre of town with private off street parking for 4 cars.

Since moving to Keswick, we have transformed “Ellergill” by combining period charm with a contemporary feel and are now listed in the lake district “LONELY PLANET GUIDE” and “ROUGH GUIDE”.

Our delicious breakfasts feature locally sourced produce including the best quality Cumberland sausage, dry cured bacon and free range eggs, as well as vegetarian options.

We have plenty of information about local attractions including walking maps and Lake District publications and there is also a garden where you can store your bicycle.

Minimum 2 night stay for advanced bookings (£5 supplement for 1 night stays)

Minimum 3 night stay for bank holiday weekends

Location

There is unrestricted parking on Stanger Street.  To access our private parking, upon entering Stanger Street, take the first alleyway on the right (about 20 yards by the accountants),  and you will find our parking (there is a sign saying "private parking for number 22")

By road :- At junction 40 of the M6, travel west along the A66 until you reach the second roundabout (approx 17 miles). Ignore any signs for Keswick before this. Turn left and follow the road to a T junction and turn left again. After 400 yards go straight over the mini roundabout and Stanger Street is then 50 yards on the left. Ellergill is about half way up the street on the right hand side.

By road : on A591 through the Lakes, stay on this road and you will reach the centre of Keswick and the road bends left (Lakeland Decor hardware shop on right) pass through the next set of traffic lights / pedestrian crossing, you will see Blacks outdoor shop on the left and Stanger Street is the next road on the right. (if you get to the mini-roundabout) you have gone too far ..

By rail :- The nearest main line station is Penrith where you pick up a bus connection for Keswick just outside the station entrance. Ellergill is just a 2 minute walk from Keswick bus station.
