Location

From the M6 motorway, take the Penrith junction(Junction 40), and head towards Keswick on the A66 trunk road for about 15 miles.

The turning for Portinscale is about 1 mile after the Keswick roundabout, so continue on the A66 until you see the turning on the left signposted to Portinscale and Grange.

Continue through the village of Portinscale for about half a mile and the Derwent Lodge Hotel is situated on the right hand side of the road opposite the Derwentwater Marina.
