Brierholme Guest House

We are situated 100 yards from the centre of Keswick and are able to offer PRIVATE PARKING for ALL of our guests. We also have LOCK-UP GARAGES for MOTOR BIKES and CYCLES.  A warm and friendly welcome is assured at Brierholme, as well as a delicious Cumbrian breakfast to set you up for the day.  We use locally sourced products wherever possible. 

Splendid fell views from all our rooms.   Double, Twin and Triple bedrooms are available, all en-suite.  Rooms have been furnished to a high standard with flat screen televisions, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks, individually controlled central heating, double glazed windows, complimentary hostess trays. The en-suites all have heated towel rails.  Free Wi-Fi is available to guests.

We enjoy sharing our knowledge of this marvellous area and can offer advice and guidance on walking, cycling and other outdoor activities.  Maps and guidebooks are available.

In our dining room we have a comprehensive breakfast menu to suit everyone. English, vegan, vegetarian, continental breakfasts are all available.

Location

Keswick is found 16 miles West of Penrith (jnct 40 on the M6 motorway), or 10 miles North of Ambleside. Brierholme is conveniently situated in the centre of Keswick:

From Penrith: Exit M6 at junction 40, A66 to Keswick. Take first turning signposted Keswick, on reaching T-junction turn right onto A5271 (town centre 1 mile). Carry straight on through the pelican crossing.  Bell Close car park will be on your left. Brierholme is situated on your right hand side, approximately 150 yards from the pelican crossing.

From Ambleside: Drop down the steep hill towards the town centre. Carry straight on through the traffic lights, Bell Close car park will be on your left. Brierholme is situated on your right hand side, approximately 150 yards from the traffic lights.

By Train: Take a bus to Keswick from outside Penrith Station. Ask to be dropped off at County Corner in Keswick. On leaving the bus, continue in the same direction and Brierholme is situated 150 yards along the road on the right hand side.
