The three bedrooms are well-furnished and of a good size. All have en-suite showers. The front bedroom upstairs has twin beds and a sweeping view of the fells. The back bedroom upstairs has a double bed and a view dominated by Skiddaw. The ground floor bedroom has a double bed and is ideal if you don't like climbing stairs.

Breakfasts are tasty and various. As well as the traditional Full English, the smoked haddock with a poached egg is very popular. Or you could try a bacon sandwich, or savoury mushrooms and tomatoes on toast or the vegetarian breakfast. Cereals and fruit juice, fruit compote and fresh fruit, coffee and many kinds of tea complete the meal to provide a good start to a day in the Lakes.

Bamford is easy to find from the A66. Leave at the big roundabout near Keswick and drive towards the town centre down Crosthwaite Road. Bamford is on the right about 200 yards down this road. Drive straight into our parking bay.
