Dolly Waggon offers you a comfortable base for your lakeland holiday. Our Victorian home is set in a quiet location with plenty of unresticted parking available in the immediate area.
All our rooms have en-suite facilities are centrally heated have colour tv/radio, tea/coffee making facilities and hair dryers. All rooms have good views. There are launderette facilities close by.

Walkers and cyclists are welcome. Cycle storage is available as well as a drying room. We can even arrange bike hire for you as we have links to a local bike shop.
We can help with route plans and maps and have plenty of guide books with walks suitable for all levels, including routes that enable you to leave your car parked up throughout your stay.

We are holders of a Cumbria Business Environment Network (CBEN) Silver Environmental Award and as such we will send you out for the day well fed on an excellent breakfast most of which is Organic, Fair Trade and/or sourced locally. We cater for coeliacs, vegetarians and other special dietary requirements. Packed lunches are available on requests (50p from each lunch will be donated to 'fix the fells'). Flasks are filled free of charge.

Situated only a few minutes walk from the town centre, Fitz Park, Derwentwater, the bus station and the theatre we are ideally place for visitors to Keswick. As a Theatre-by-the-Lake Ambassador we are able to secure discounts on the best seats to a wonderful variety of shows and plays.

Location

Take the 1st slip road off the A66 for Keswick. Follow the signs for the town centre, take the turning on the left immediately after the Conservative Club (Greta Street). Cross over Blencathra Street. Turn right into Helvellyn Street.
