KIMBERLEY
All on the flat. An ideal introduction to Honister Slate Mine. Suitable for all ages.

HONISTER
Minimum height 1m 30cm. Those who dare may go out on the very edge of the mountain, then up and deep inside.
(Subject to weather and operational conditions).
CATHEDRAL
A bespoke personal tour of the working mine. Must be pre-booked. Friday evenings only. (Minimum 8 persons).

From Keswick take the B5289 through Borrowdale and Rosthwaite

From Cockermouth take the B5292 towards Keswick for 4 miles then turn right onto the B5289 to Low Lorton and Buttermere. We are at the top of the Pass.
