The AA Rosette Brossen Steakhouse in Keswick, is challenging its customers to demolish a 72oz rump steak, which comes with chunky chips, onion rings and a sauce of your choice, for just in case you feel a little peckish after the steak.
If you fancy taking on this gut-busting challenge it will cost £65, but the best news is if you manage to eat the lot within 1 hour, you’ll get your money back. But will your eyes turn out to be bigger than your belly?
Dan Lansley, Head Chef commented, “It’s going to be an epic challenge, the feedback that we have already received suggests that some of our regulars are already gearing up for it. We’ve kept the rules simple; you cannot get up during the challenge or let anyone help you eat it, your plate needs to be empty within 1 hour and we require 24-hour advance bookings.”
If a meaty steak challenge isn’t your thing, you’re in luck the Inn on the Square has just launched a mouth-watering new autumn/winter menu, which features culinary delights such as; sticky harissa spiced lamb belly with hot pot, chick peas, pomegranate, yogurt and lamb samosa for a main and Kinder Bueno with milk & white chocolate, hazelnut velvetine, hazelnut brittle and salted caramel for dessert.
