The popular Food Fayre encourages its many visitors to sample true Cumbrian food in a traditional market square setting.  Coupled with the festivities, see the switch on of the Christmas lights.

The Lake District Tree of Light is the magnificent beech tree situated next to the Cenotaph in Keswick. This will be lit at 6.30pm and will be followed by a celebratory procession, led by the Olympic Torch Bearers, of local children playing drums and carrying torches to the Market Square where Keswick’s lights will be switched on at 7pm.
