Lake District Wildlife Park

Experience the wild at the Lake District Wildlife Park.
The Lake District Wildlife Park is a hidden gem. Set in breath-taking scenery just 10 minutes from Keswick, you will find plenty to see and do.
See over 100 different animals from Anaconda to Zebra, Meerkats and Macaws to endangered species like Gibbons, Lemurs and Vultures. Spot Mei Li and Charu our adorable Red Pandas snoozing in the branches of their oak tree.
Hand feed domestic animals including Dwarf Zebu, Bagot Goats, Donkeys, Herdwick Sheep and Tamworth Pigs. If you are lucky, you might even see some piglets or kids! Fun, educational Keeper talks take place all day. Find out what Meerkats eat for breakfast, how far a Lemur can leap and watch Birds of Prey soaring over your head or landing next to you. Meet some reptiles and minibeasts during our reptile encounters. It is fun for all the family and a great opportunity to meet some of our most endangered species. We have an animal themed outdoor adventure playground and indoor soft play area.
Open daily 10.00am to 5.00pm daily or dusk if earlier.
Admission Prices: Adult £12.95, Senior £11.95, Children (3 – 14 yrs) £10.95, Family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) £46. Annual passes are available.
Why not try a personal animal encounter – fly a Hawk, meet the Meerkats, Lemurs and tickle a Tapir or take an Alpaca for a walk. The experience lasts for an hour, costs £65 and includes all day entry into the park, so don’t forget your camera.
