Weekend Breaks

Enjoy a weekend at Derwent Hill with your friends, family, or club.
We have 15 ensuite rooms sleeping up to 27. All rooms have TV, radio, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
Our comfortable bar and lounge has a large TV, DVD player and free Wi-Fi for your use. Our chefs prepare excellent food to your dietary requirements.

Stay and enjoy a relaxing weekend or add one or two days of activities.  Try kayaking, canoeing, sailing, rock climbing, gorge descents, high ropes challenge, orienteering, rambles and mountain walking with our friendly, professional staff. 

The minimum group size for weekend bookings is 14. All meals are included. 

Prices: £134 full board but no activities
              £176 full board, one day of activities 
              £217 full board, two days of activities

 

Family Adventure Holidays

Bring the family on our exciting summer activity holidays. Enjoy the activities safe in the knowledge that we are a licensed outdoor activity provider.  Accommodation available in family dormitories and en-suite rooms. 6 nights full board and 5 full days of activity.

Conferences and Team Development Courses

Our well equipped conference room is a great working environment for team meetings and small conferences. We offer everything from a short icebreaker to facilitated team development.
Prices from £116.40 ex vat, for 1 night / 2 day conference in twin ensuite room

 If you have a large event in mind we have an adjacent building that can sleep 80 people in a mixture of dormitories and twin en-suite rooms.

Location

How to find us from the A66 or M6 at Penrith (M6 junction 40):
Take A66 west towards Keswick.
Do not turn off into Keswick - continue on A66 to a large roundabout (17 miles from M6). 
Continue on A66 for just over 1 mile, past another left turn to Keswick, and turn left (signposted Grange, Portinscale).
Continue for 600m, then turn left where the road swings sharply to the right. (Signposted Derwent Hill)
Derwent Hill is on the right after 100m, beyond the Derwentwater Hotel.
