From Keswick: Take the A66 west towards Cockermouth. At Braithwaite turn west onto the B5292 for Lorton. Follow Visitor Centre Sign Posts.
Become a Gruffalo Nature Explorer on Wednesdays during the school holidays to discover the secrets of our deep dark wood. These are free, led activities. Drop in between 11am and 3pm. Please be aware that the activity sessions may get busy, so there may be a wait to take part - but there's plenty to do in the forest in the mean time!
