Keswick Music Society presents Patrick Hemmerlé (piano). Patrick is a phenomenal French pianist based in Cambridge. After performing Bach’s Goldberg Variations here last year he returns with another landmark of piano music - Beethoven’s ground-breaking Diabelli Variations. He’ll then play Chopin’s Op. 10 Etudes – a set of pieces that formed the foundation for what was a revolutionary playing style and amongst the most challenging and evocative pieces in the concert piano repertoire. Patrick’s profound musicianship makes his pre-concert talk a must for all concert-goers. Pre-concert talk by Patrick Hemmerlé at 6.45pm.
