Skiddaw View Holiday Home Park is an Award Winning Holiday Home Park, situated in a secluded and delightful setting on the outskirts of Bassenthwaite in the Lake District, Cumbria.
The twenty acre park is nestled into the hillside in an elevated position and so offers breathtakingly stunning panoramic views of the Cumbrian countryside, Skiddaw and the Northern Fells.
Here at Skiddaw View Holiday Home Park we are in the position to offer you a range of different timber lodges ranging from classical timber lodges with timber clad interiors to some of our more modern-contemporary styled lodges. In addition our range of Luxury Static Caravan Holiday Homes provides superb comfort, all of which are less than three years old.
In addition to the stunning timber lodges and static caravans we have a number of charming and delightful cottages in the local towns and villages. We also have the Big White House; this self-catering house is ideal for gatherings of family and friends; as it sleeps eighteen people across nine bedrooms.
Many of our accommodations also accept pets; while others remain exclusively ‘pet free’.
All of our accommodations on the park are inspected by Visit Britain and have been awarded the prestigious Rose Award for the high standards which are maintained. All of the cottages and houses are also inspected by Visit Britain and are all graded at a three star minimum.

Excellent walks can be accessed from every direction from the park; however energetic you are feeling; there is a walk for you: from gentle strolls around Buttermere to a wander up Binsey or you could even tackle Skiddaw’s 3000 feet!
We are only also 30 minutes drive from The Great Border City of Carlisle and Penrith, and within an hour you can reach Windermere, Ambleside and Grasmere.
